Proto(n) in Tahoe

Proto(n) is the annual tech gathering of Protofect, reflecting on the year of creativity, passion, building and monster technologies that have come to the surface. We take deep dives into every technology realm on the planet, from bitcoin to AR, from Meta to NFTs and explore the possibilities, opportunities, challenges and biases in these fields.

The name originates from the time complexity of algorithms to figure out a solution to a given problem. These complexities are represented as Big O notation, e.g. o(n) which describes how the algorithm performs and scales. It also discusses the best, average and worst case scenarios of solution as the problem grows in size/scale.

We are a group of computer scientists, data scientists, derivative traders, art connoisseurs, venture capitalists and builders.

In 2021, Proto(n) will be held from December 8-10 in Tahoe City, California.
